How to install 4.80.1 Rebug REX/D-REX
- Download the Rebug PS3UPDAT.PUP from the official Rebug site (there are two versions, one for CEX and the other one for DEX Systems, choose the one you need)
- Create on a FAT32 formatted USB Flash Drive a Folder called PS3, then into this one, another one called UPDATE
- Copy the PS3UPDAT.PUP in the UPDATE Folder.
- Plug in the usb flash drive to your PS3, Go to Settings > System Update and install it.
- You’re now done and can setup the CFW.
Like all Custom Firmwares, you can only install 4.80.1 Rebug if you’re already running a Custom Firmware, or Official Firmware 3.55 and below on your PS3!
